A WORD FROM THE WEBMASTER
Hi, I'm Joe Emerson, the webmaster volunteer helping Lawrence Hughes.
My email is jmasonemerson@yahoo.com or phone me at 913 492-1564. There is deep support among not only former JWs but among many active JWs for Lawrence's
battle which is international in scope. In an emergency situation regarding their kids or themselves many JWs do want
the option of transfusion. Besides this website I recommend you look at http://www.ajwrb.org
However Watchtower has routinely disfellowshipped, meaning severely shunned, those
JWs whom the Watchtower-appointed elders have found took emergency transfusions, causing loss of JW family and friends.
It's like having a gun put to your head. Coersion; duress. I've spoken with people shunned
10, 20, 30, 40 years. Once applied Watchtower keeps it going onto death unless you may beg to be reinstated with them.
Therefore JWs have bled to death rather than lose all their family and friends. This isn't loving in the least,
and it's sometimes dangerous, even fatal.

Watchtower's
Awake! magazine of May 22, 1994, depicted and bragged of Jehovah's Witness children dying after refusing
transfusions. This cover shows some 25 among the untold number of others who have bled to death since
1945 per Watchtower.
